I hope everyone had a great New Year’s! I ended up in D.C. to celebrate the coming of 2009 with some old friends and a James Bond party. I didn’t leave TN without my Miss Moneypenny outfit and some moonshine to help usher in 2009. However classy the party intended to be, I brought it down a couple of notches. This is a little embarrassing to say, but I’m from Tennessee, born and bred, and I’d never had moonshine up until December 31 of 2008. As shocking as it seems, I was determined to get back in touch with my TN roots. I bought a jar of apple pie moonshine for $15. I’m not going to reveal my source, but I can say the concoction was quite delicious! It wasn’t pure moonshine, but in my Miss Moneypenny outfit I enjoyed soaking up all of the TN winter tradition. Excited for the new year and with a couple of sips of apple pie moonshine brewing in my bloodstream, I thought it was an excellent time to film me trying it out for your viewing pleasure. Uncut and for your entertainment, here’s TN apple moonshine on New Year’s Eve:
