One thing that is always overlooked when making travel plans is sleep. When I hear some people’s travel itineraries that list off 10 cities in 10 days, I get exhausted thinking about it. I remember meeting some guys in Germany who were just catching a little sleep on overnight trains as they partied through Europe for 4 days. It sounded fantastic. However, while a fast pace is really fun and exciting, it will also burn you out really fast too. Budget in sleep even if it means cutting down on your to-do list. You can sleep when you’re dead, but who wants to be dead-tired trekking around on a trip? On that note…I’m going to catch some Zzzzzs now!
